Meeting with the Ambassador of Cameroon – October 11, 2024
On October 11, 2024, Luc Belinga and I had the honor of being received by His Excellency, the Ambassador of Cameroon in Berne.
We are deeply grateful for the warm welcome and the interest he expressed in our scientific and humanitarian initiatives. His support marks an important step toward strengthening cooperation between our institutions and reinforcing the bridges between research, clinical care, and international collaboration.
At the end of October, we will launch a series of actions in Cameroon, including equipment donations and scientific workshops. These efforts aim to improve both the clinical and neurobiological diagnosis of dementia — a growing public health challenge that affects an increasing number of families across the country.
Our approach is rooted in shared knowledge, local empowerment, and the conviction that science should serve communities directly, especially in areas where needs remain underserved. We are proud to contribute, with our partners, to this important momentum for innovation in health and neuroscience in Central Africa.
